It has been brought to our attention that if you are using your AirPods to listen to music and a phone call comes in, the music will continue to play in the background.

You can hear the call and have a conversation with the other party, but you can also hear the music. The caller will just hear you; there will be no music playing. Given that the AirPods will only play anything that has been sent to them from the iPhone, the issue must lie with the iPhone.
