The third installment of the Now That’s What I Call Music! series has been released in the United States under the title Now That’s What I Call Music! 3. It was made available for purchase on December 7, 1999, and it made its debut on the Billboard 200 albums list at position number nine.   • Now That’s What I Call Music was the first album to be released on MiniDisc.43 in the year 1999 and concluded with the show “Now That’s What I Call Music!” 48 in 2001.
  • Now That’s What I Call Music! 62 was the first Now album to be made available for purchase as a digital download in 2005 through all of the various online music retailers.
  • The production of cassette tapes was discontinued in 2006, and the last cassette released was Now That’s What I Call Music! 64,
  • There were companion VHS videos made for all of the Now! albums beginning with the first volume and continuing through Now That’s What I Call Music! 20, with the exception of Now! The 19th edition of That’s What I Call Music. They included music videos, some of which were for songs that were included on the album that accompanied them, while others were for songs that were not included on the album. Some of the early volumes were also made available on Betamax, and laserdiscs were made available for some of the volumes at a later time.
