In the words of William E. Ketchum III People who listen to Maybach Music Group’s music are familiar with Rick Ross, the gruff voice that can be heard on many of the company’s tracks. However, what about the alluring female voice that mentions the label before each song? It would appear that the woman in question is the famous Australian model Jessica Gomes.
She then responded to other users’ allusions to her as the “Maybach Music Lady” after tweeting a quick “Maybach Music. Ha.” after which she confirmed allegations by Complex that she was the voice in question. She is a well-known figure in the entertainment world, despite the fact that her Twitter bio refers to her as a “Ethnically Ambiguous Australian Supermodel.” She has been featured on the cover of Complex magazine and in a commercial for the fragrance “Unforgivable” by Puff Daddy.
In addition, she was addressed by name in Kanye West’s song “Christian Dior Denim Flow,” which he released as part of his “GOOD Fridays” leak series in the year 2010. Kanye West rhymed “Jessica Gomes y’all, I would destroy her” while addressing other well-known models including Selita Ebanks and Veronica Webb.
Gomes’s CV, however, includes accomplishments outside of the hip-hop world as well. She has been featured in publications such as Vogue, Italian GQ, and others in addition to appearing many times in the Swimsuit Issue of Sports Illustrated.
